How the Rumpelstiltskin AI meme started
None of it is from a real movie. The clip that started this went up on Instagram in late August 2026, built with AI to look like a grainy fantasy film from the 1980s: a small, sly man slips into a room stacked with straw, puts a finger to his lips, dances in front of a young woman who cannot believe what she is seeing, and leaves the straw as gold. By late September the audio under it had become "Tip Toe Wing In My Jawwdinz" by Riff Raff, and by early October TikTok and X had renamed the whole thing the "tiptoeing in my Jordans" meme, with edit after edit dropping a different face onto the little dancer.
DanceRemake rebuilds those beats as a 12-second dance: whoever is in photo 1 becomes the little man, and photo 2, if you add one, puts a friend down among the straw bales. The soundtrack is a playful instrumental of our own, so the Riff Raff track is not in the file; pull that sound from TikTok's library at the moment you post. We are a fan-made maker with no tie to Riff Raff or to the people who built the original clip.
Half the comedy is the mismatch. The character is a goblin out of a bedtime story, filmed like a forgotten VHS fantasy, and he bounces around as though he just unboxed a pair of sneakers.
